Fab will now only come out on very special occasions . He was almost upstaged by his gorgeous Tricolour daughter Nanette who took 2 Best of Breeds to put her half way to her title and between them gave us all 3 Collie Rough Best of Breeds over the weekend. Chanel decided to strip off the last of her clothes and go naked so her last points will have to wait until 2014. August 24, 2013 After many months of limited chances to update our old website and finally having it attacked by Malware I am finally making some head way on the NEW Carluke Collies website. Thank you to all those people that have expressed there concern over the old website, but here is hoping we are on to bigger and better things!
Just a brief recap...whilst we have not been to many shows this year, in fact I think we have been absent at more than we have attended. Our dogs have still managed to obtain results we could only have wished for:- The highlights include CH Maurville Dream Come Tru (Kylie) completing her GRAND TITLE at Easter. CH Carluke Flirtwth Noskirt (Freya) wininng Best of Breed @ all 3 Speciality shows she has been to this year and finishing one of those with BEST IN SHOW (QLD) and the other RuP BEST IN SHOW (Victoria) . Carluke Au Contraire (Oliver) winning Dog Challenge and RuBOB and Junior in show @ the Collie Club of Queensland and winning his class at the Collie Club of Victoria, his sister Carluke Moonlite Over Paris (Nanette) winning BEST IN SHOW at the Collie Club of Victoria Open show, JUNIOR IN SHOW at the Collie club of Victoria Champ show and winning her class at all 3 Breed speciality shows she has been to this year. These last two are children of our French boy Faberge Des Beldones who has been no slouch this year and is very close to attaining his title, although he would prefer to sire puppies and when you consider there virtues why would you not! Aside from the 2 mentioned here there is the largely unshown Tricolour brother and sister here and the gorgeous Sable Smooth girl in Queensland Jencol Sinspiration (Astrid)who at the recent Queensland Royal collected her first CC and RuBOB to her Uncle Grand CH Jencol Thrills Not Frills (Taj).
So what is ahead for the rest of the year? We hope to introduce to the show scene our newest baby Tilly, finish some long overdue titles and maybe some very special puppies!!! ciao Kate
