November 26  Some photo's of Carluke Collies in their new homes.  Thank you everyone for keeping us up to date with their babies progress.

November 20 A fortnight ago we welcomed young Paris from Sydney, Paris was one of Chanel's last 2 puppies that Freya raised in 2014 we reluctantly let her go, but did so because it was to a loving home, and so it was.   However when the opportunity came up for us to have her back needless to say we did not need asking twice! Paris attended her first show on Saturday the 19th of November and came home with Bitch CC, Best of Breed, Rup in Group (Group 2nd) and Australian Bred in group.  Iris also came along and collected reserve CC and Ru Best of Breed, our first shows in 6 weeks and we were more than pleased with the girls.

November 5 Please note that due to family illness and the impending legislative bill change in Victoria we have no immediate plans for puppies, we thank you for your enquiries and ask that if you want freedom of choice you please visit the website www.purebreddogs.org.au to see what YOU can do about securing your future family companion.

October 4
Our last shows for a while more points were added to the lovely young Blue puppies, Lyam and Butterfly are now starting to blow there coats, I am hoping that they keep a little in reserve for a couple of shows later in the year...but what will be will be!  Oliver also made a rare appearance to collect Best of Breed and go onto Best Open in group.

September 22 - Who knew time could pass so quickly.  We have been to Adelaide and back and finished with Melbourne royal as well,  our results were lovely.  At Adelaide young Butterfly spread her wings to claim Puppy of Breed and reserve bitch challenge @ 12 months of age, Oliver went 2nd in Open dog, Lilly claimed 2nd in Aust Bred bitch.  For Melbourne the young Blue team of Lyam and Butterfly both won their Junior classes (qualifying them for Crufts 2017) and Oliver had to settle for 4th in the Open dog class.
Not only have the Royals been and won but our babies will all be in their new homes by the end of the weekend, they have been such happy fuss free babies it is sad to let them go, but we know they are each going to be well loved and love well in return.

August 30 -
Babies have been for their vaccinations and micro chipping and all good for them.  On the weekend we attended some local shows were Butterfly picked up 2 challenges and Iris one.  Royal season is about to start looking forward to it :)

August 24 - Just a couple of the current babies at play.
August 09  New photo's have been added to Nanette's puppy page also Lyam, Lilly and Butterfly.

The 3 mentioned dogs came away for the weekend with me to Albury for the Murray Valley International weekend.  The puppies - came away with a Best of Breed each Lyam finishing off with a Junior in Group award.  Lilly had a great time and in progressing in her ring performances and also did some jumping over the cross country jumps!  Our travelling partner Pip collected 3 Best of Breeds.
July 26. Some pictures of babies in new homes and a couple of others :)  Congratulations Saga and Jenny on picking up a Challenge on the weekend just gone, Saga is doing really well considering how few shows she has actually been to.

July 11 Just a couple more candid snaps of dogs in there homes.  Thanks to there owners that obviously pander to there needs so well :) .

Goldie has gone of to his new home and we wish him and his new brother Ned a long and happy life together.  His leaving also coincided with a dog show in Wentworth so we took the opportunity to show Lyam and Iris, nice to say Lyam added an attractive Best of Breed to his name as well as a Reserve CC and Iris also added a reserve CC.
July 05  Firstly Happy birthday to my sister Jenny, hope you have a lovely day.
Now for a weekend catch up, 2 shows the doggies attended and we had a great fun time.  Iris fresh back on the show ring scene collecting Best of Breed on the Saturday under Mr C Evans,  then fronting up for Reserve Bitch Challenge at the Collie Club of Victoria Championship show under long time breed judge Mrs V Morrow of NSW.  Other peoples Carluke dogs also did well, it was lovely to see Nelson, Pepe and Quentin in the ribbons :)
Our babies are starting to head of to their new homes, we wish them and there new familys lots of love.  We have available a Tricolour Male puppy.

June 18  Some puppy updates.  Thank you Michaela for keeping us up to date with Mercury he is in such a lovely home.  Also Saffy who has just acquired herself a big dog play mate, thank you Michelle for opening your home up to Storm we hope you all have a lot of Collie fun together.
June 13  Iris and Meme attended the Working Dog club show on Saturday just gone, Meme won her class and Iris went through to Reserve Bitch Challenge and Ru Best of Breed - her first indoor show at the Park and only her 2nd show back post coat drop.  Thank you to helpers on the day :)

June 05 We have been to our first winter shows and after making a delayed show ring debut we are happy to say Lilly collected her first CC.  Iris her sister came along in her half dress for a 2nd and Lyam was Minor puppy of Breed (he has now finished in the Minor puppy classes) .  Over in South Australia Quentin picked up both Best of Breeds at the Winter International and in Queensland his half sister also collected a Best of Breed at her only show for the weekend.

The babies are doing well and have homes to date.

May 23
Congratulations Susie, Andrew and Pepe on your Neuter Best of Breed at Geelong Kennel Club show on the weekend.  Young Miss Saga also added more points to her name as did Miss Eva in Queensland.

May 15 Our babies are all here now, you can see photo's on there respective litter pages,  all enquiries will be answered over the next couple of days, establishing babies on there feet takes precedence over answering puppy enquiries I am afraid :)

Congratulations to Jenny and the girls on their day at a show yesterday Best of Breed for young Saga with Minor puppy in group and Best of Breed for Eva.

May 04 Quentin has started May of with a Best of Breed in South Australia, congratulations Tania and Kimberley.

April o2
March ended very sadly here at Carluke sadly we had to say farewell to two much loved veterans, Phoenix and Bronte both have left their legacies and together we have many shared memories.
Thanks to Mercury and Sequels  owners for these lovely shots of the boy, so nice to have photo's come into to show how the babes are doing.
March 27  A very happy easter to one and all.  Our run of shows continue with Oliver collecting the BOB this time and his sister Nanette bitch CC and RuBOB, Butterfly trumped her brother for MPOB and Lilly made a return to the showring for a JOB.  Thank you Samantha Buckley for helping with all the dogs and doing such a lovely job with Oliver.  The older dogs will have a bit of a break now to allow the youngsters to find there feet in the ring.

CH Carluke Au Contraire - just turned 4 years old, there are litters expected by him in April.
March 20  A flying visit to Sydney saw all four doggies come home with wins, but the star of our team was definitely Freya who at 8.5 years charmed the judge into awarding her RCC, RuBOB and Veteran in show, thank you Birgitta for your lovely comments on the two superb Smooth Collie bitches I showed, they also happen to be 3/4 sisters!
March 15
The dogs and I have returned from a fun weekend away, our star if one is to be singled out is our gorgeous Tri girl Nanette who from her last 7 shows has 5 Best of Breeds & 6 Challenges.  The babies are now also over 6 months of age and on there first long trip from home behaved so very well, Lyam gained 3 Minor of Breeds and 1 for Butterfly.   Oliver (Nanettes brother) put his paw forward and came up with 3 CC's, whilst last weekend our Tri boy Angus finally did it and completed his title.

We hopefully are expecting puppies late April and into Mid May:- Tricolour and Sables only at this stage expected.  Please email or call for further information.

February 22  The baby boy Lyam has done it again, Baby puppy in group on Saturday night under Dr B Robertson of NSW his comment was what a shame he is not old enough for the challenge and after judging his sister Butterfly - you are so lucky to have 2 lovely Blue Merle puppies.   Aunt Nanette was Best of Breed and Angus had to settle for Reserve Challenge.

February 08 A pleasant drive up to Ballarat on Sunday for a show saw the brother and sister duos in action:- Oliver winning Best of Breed and Nanette Ru BOB, Lyam Baby puppy of breed and Butterfly won her class.  Up in Queensland there Tri sister also won Baby of Breed.

January 31 Saga went to her first show in Queensland yesterday and won a nice competitive Baby puppy of Breed award, congratulations to Jenny and Saga of course.

January 18 - We have attended our first shows for the year, a fortnight ago Angus and I ventured to a local evening show and he collected RCC & RBOB still needing that elusive final CC for his title.  Whilst this weekend just gone we went to another local show however we managed to take 4 dogs with us, Nanette was Best of Breed, her brother Oliver pushed to the limelight for RCC to there uncle Nelson ( CH Carluke Willofthewisp) and young Lyam was Baby of Breed over his sister Butterfly.

Exciting confirmation from Dogzonline - Iris ( Carluke Love To Pose AI) wins the Victorian Rising Star Collie Rough of the year 2015 attending only 15 shows for the year.  Over in South Australia Quentin ( CH Carluke Contra Indicated) wins South Australian Showdog Collie Smooth of the year 2015 and finishes 2nd overall in the Rising Star Collie Smooth 2015 just like his sister Eva and Mother Freya before him, He has also been invited to attend Puppy of the Year run by Dogs Victoria in March 2016.

January 02
- Well here we are another new year, we trust that everyone had a wonderful festive season and is ready to dive into the next 12 months.  Whilst we have had a quieter year here at Carluke it does not follow that we have little to be proud of, in fact we have 3 New Champions for the year - Neut CH Carluke Etched N Silva, CH Carluke Contra Indicated and our own CH Carluke Fancy Me as well we have had Carluke Cause Cele Bre, Carluke Love To Pose (AI), CH Carluke Au Contraire, CH Carluke Moonlight Over Paris and CH Carluke Strike A Pose all in the showring and doing well.

Looking forward our new babies Lyam, Butterfly and Saga are about to embark on what we hope are fun show careers as well as planning babies in all three colour during the year.
