July 22, Took team Tricolour out to a show on Saturday, the only Collies eligible for challenges Leo trumped Cally for Best of Breed then he went on to be shortlisted for Best In Group. Up in NSW Jade - CH Carluke Private Dancer has also been out and about picking up BOB and CC's - congratulations to Wayne and Louise.
We also went to visit Leo's youngest babies and they are just as sweet as. There are some still looking for the right homes and a couple have great potential as show dogs, please see our Available page and contact Sam directly.

June 08 At the changing of the days our darling Nanette - CH Carluke Moonlight Over Paris - left us after a short battle with seizures. 12 years and 3 months of age and just 53 weeks after loosing her brother. Once again we are reminded just how fleeting they are in our lives. A formidable backyard presence now at rest. Nanette had just a single litter for 1 Tri boy and 5 Tri girls - her daughter Dion (CH Carluke Myhart Willgo On) has given us Bond - Carluke Top Secret (exp Slovenia and father of some lovely Collies) Prim ( Aust & NZ CH Carluke Diamentes At Dusk) mother of a new generation at Fairenvy Kennels (NZ) and in her 2nd and final litter Robbie (NZ CH Carluke Cest La VIe) Cherry Simmons Avonia Kennels (NZ) and our gorgeous Coco Pop (Carluke Frou Frou Revue)
Never heavily campaigned she was a Best in Group winner (Group 1st) under specialist Mrs Shelley Bateup, CCV Championship Show 2017 Best of Breed & Rup in SHOW winner under Mrs Bev White (UK) and on her final appearance 6 weeks later went RCC at the 12th Collie National under Mrs John Walsh SNR (Ireland)
We sadly acknowledge the passing last week of Naya - Carluke Femme Fatale just shy of her 12th birthday, Naya went to live with Joy as an older girl but not before leaving us the gift of Cher - Carluke Forever In Bluegenes (Trish & Kevin Mcgill) who in turn has given us Feliz (Carluke Hands Offmy Tiara) & Matilda (DKK CH Carluke Frozen In Time). Naya is survived at Carluke by her younger sister Meme (CH Carluke Fancy Me)

Prim is litter sister to successful but probably undervalued dog in Slovenia - Carluke Top Secret. On a personal note I have has 2 wonderful trips abroad, the first to the UK for British Collies Association Championship show and Dog Mecca - Crufts, thank you to all those that welcomed Anneke, Sam and myself into their homes and kennels. Then I went on my own to Denmark for the EDS - what a whirlwind trip that was - the highlight being able to show our homebred girl to 2 * 2nd places with excellent gradings and 1 CK. Also the pleasure of being there when family friend Tomas Rohlin was granted 'All breeds status" so special catching up with friends and making new ones.
