January 20. Really excelling ourselves now, we went to another show last Saturday, our most local show! Lang Lang so nice to be only 30 mins from home - blew an absolute gale though!. Our team of 2 from the extremes of our teams age spectrum Sia pulled of a lovely Open in Group and Poppy did a lovely drop- stay at the end of her individual workout :) for Minor puppy of breed. This weekend is not looking promising weather wise so roll on the end of the month.

Okay; so January 2025 feels like it just started yesterday and here we are in 2026 already…
I am not sure I am ready for it, but will try! So much has happened, when I thought we had not accomplished much.
Dog showing has not been the focus of the year, but that certainly has not stopped them SHINING when out in the showring.
CH Carluke Kissed By Harriet – Dylan has been to a total of 7 shows this year for an outstanding record of 1 BEST IN SHOW. Dog CC & RBOB at the Collie Club of Victoria Champ show, RCC @ RMS to his brother (the only show he didn’t not win points at)
CH Carluke Kissed By Faberge – Henri went to slightly more shows (12) than his brother claiming 1Rup BEST IN SHOW – 2 Best in Groups (All breeds). RCC Collie club of Victoria Champ show, Dog CC, BOB and group shortlist @ RMS. Henri also sired his first litter this year, with Poppy shining in the ring already.
CH Carluke Frou Frou Revue – CoCo completed her title this year and has bopped around collecting RCC at the Collie Club of Victoria Champ show, RCC @ RMS
CH Carluke Falling In Love – Leo the big black boy only went to 4 shows this year and has decided that enough is enough! Gaining CC points at 3 of those shows and an Open in group he will now rest on his laurels at the grand age of 4 years old, he retires with over 400 points, but his children and now grand children enjoy showing much more than he. The sire of 3 of the 4 major Collie Rough winners at the Collie Club of VIC champ show 2025, he has 4 titled children and a couple more on their way.
CH Kirrieloch Oh Calamity (AI) – Cally picked up CC points at her 3 shows in 2025, motherhood was her calling and we have young Poppy to look forward to.
Carluke Hands Offmy Tiara (AI) – Feliz only 2 shows for her with points, we sincerely hope to have her out and about more in 2026.

C.I.B (2025 recognised) Grand CH Foxbell X Factor – Sia 11 shows for her this year and what results! 2 BEST IN GROUPS (All breeds) under Group 5 Specialist judges! 1 Rup BEST IN GROUP (All breeds) under an International Collie specialist! Rup BEST IN SHOW Collie Club of Victoria Champ show. Best of Breed @ RMS.

Carluke KissMeKissMeKissMe – Poppy went to her first shows @ 4 months 4 Baby shows and a Baby puppy in show winner, 3 Minor puppy shows and she is sitting on double digit points with older competition and a Minor puppy in group award @ 6 months old. So looking forward to watching this gorgeous girl grow.
Posthumous title for Grand CH Carluke Au Contraire now a Sire of Merit (SOM) – 10 titled progeny with one completing after 1/1/2025 (CoCo)
Dog Sport titles CH Carluke Fabulously Fancy – Competing in Tricks has her TK.N title and points to her Neuter title.
Internationally – DKK CH Carluke Frozen In Time (AI) can add NOR CH to her list as well as becoming a mother to a gorgeous lookalike Tri daughter Rosetta
The Kiwi family have continued from strength to strength. On the North Island NZ CH Carluke Started With Akiss – Cruz has a titled son and a daughter on her way, as well as making a token appearance late in the year to remind people he is still around. We thank Raewyn and Jo for their loving care of this gorgeous boy.
South Island and Aust & NZ Ch Carluke Diamentes At Dusk - Prim has 3 NZ titled children, 1 Australian titled grand daughter and on the verge of 2 NZ titled grand children. Thank you to Angela and family for loving this quirky Tri girl.
Of course there are the dogs in loving family homes, we thank you for the care and love you give them and enjoy hearing of your adventures over the years. Sadly there have been losses and we remember fondly those who have passed over the rainbow bridge.
2026 brings with it the excitement of a Collie National and meeting up with friends from both home and abroad.
