September 03, Sadly Prim - NZ & Aust CH Carluke Diamentes At Dusk has joined the stars in the sky. We thank Angela and family for all the love and care given to her over the years. Run free sweet, sweet girl.
August 31, Feliz added another 2 Best of Breeds to her tally on Saturday, her title is close now :) Sia also added 2 Best of Breeds and run for group at both shows but no joy #westillneed1.
August 15, Last weekend we attended 3 of the Lilydale shows, a lovely time with everyone bringing something home - Dylan, Henri, Poppy and Feliz, sadly the 2 girls are having their own competition on who will lose the most coat but they are on the downhill slide to their titles :)

A quick national wrap up. We took 8 dogs with us, I swore only 2 years ago that I would NEVER do that again! This time believe me... I wont! But what a time they gave us. Everyone came home with something.

July 19 - July is all about the Collie National, we have been busy organising merchandise and goodies for the Welcome bags, now it is time to start on the dogs! We have received a wonderful entry of 171 in the conformation breed classes made up of 120 Roughs and 51 Smooths and dog sports:- Trick Dog 21 Rally 21 Obedience 16 . Competition begins this Friday July 24 with Sports, Saturday 25 Collie Rough judging and Sunday Collie Smooths all the way through to the ultimate Best in Show. Gates open @ 0700 each day and the general public is very welcome. Please see the PDF booklet on the home page and it should answer ALL your queries.

May 11 The Collie club of Victoria Inc. Championship show is over for another year, congratulations for hosting a friendly event with a supportive atmosphere. Our judge from the UK Ms Maxine Mellish Demelewis Collies awarded our Collies well. Sia - Grand CH, C.I.B Foxbell X Factor won her 5th straight Best of Breed award but no further love. Dylan - CH Carluke Kissed By Harriet collected his 3rd Reserve dog Challenge at this event. Hi young niece Poppy - Carluke KissmeKissmeKissme stunned us all by claiming Reserve bitch challenge and PUPPY IN SHOW (emulating her uncle Dylan), her mum Cally - CH Kirrieloch Oh Calamity (AI) won Open bitch and Feliz - Carluke Hands Offmy Tiara (AI) was awarded a lovely 2nd in Australian bred bitch class. Sadly no photos from the day as we needed to get home to care for those playing at home.

April 12, OK so we snuck in 1 show over Easter (it did start late which was a nice change) Dylan Best of Breed, Poppy BCC & RBOB. Best of luck to everyone taking part in group specials today at the Easter Royal.
March 22, A lovely Melbourne Autumn day yesterday was spent @ a Dog show with SIa, Cally and Poppy. The girl team did us proud as always. Sia BOB * 2 (no luck in group) still hunting 1. Cally 2* CC + 1 BOB, Poppy a Puppy Sweepstakes shortlist 2 RCC and followed her Mum through to a RBOB so very pleased with our day :) No shows on the horizon till late April.
Puppy plans will also have to alter - because girls have a mind of there own and choosing to cycle at inconvenient times!!!

The sweet Tri at the bottom right is a family member in Slovenia - a grand daughter of Carluke Top Secret (Lyam * Dion) definitely more than a family resemblance, The beautiful baby bottom left is a family member in Denmark (from Multi Ch Carluke Frozen In Time - Carlos * Cher (Lyam * Naya). There is a 3rd singleton Tricolour girl growing up here in Australia who looks so similar to these two she is a daughter of CH Carluke Private Dancer (Lyam * Faith) so all related :)

March 09, A long weekend spent at dogs shows, what could be better. The doggies did us proud. Henri BOB * 3, Cally RBOB * 3, Dylan BOB * 1, Poppy Puppy in Group * 2 and Sia BOB * 4 1 Rup Best in Group (Group 2nd) 1 Open in group. Overall the Breed had a pretty good weekend @ Yarram.
News from further afield and congratulations are in order for Nerina Rizzo and her Darcy child Sandicourt Gentlmn Pref Blonds on titling
February 28 Well don't we have some news! On Friday Sia, Dylan, Poppy and I took a drive up to Rochester - a lovely relaxed country show - much congratulations to the team running the event. Sia was on FIRE Best Exhibit in GROUP (Group 1st) at both shows! Dylan had a brain fart day but picked up a BOB over Poppy at the PM show, Poppy was the only girl and she won both CC's, 2 RBOB and picked up a fringie for Minor puppy in group at her last Minor puppy show.
Thank you Kaye for your help on the day and congratulations on Flins BOB :) and Michelle the gazebo host and May on your Neuter in group at the 2nd show.

The weekend just gone Leos daughter Ellie and Nicole had some fun in Naracoorte picking up a Best Neuter in Show and other group prizes, this pair have come along so nicely together.

Our team of 2 from the extremes of our teams age spectrum Sia pulled of a lovely Open in Group and Poppy did a lovely drop- stay at the end of her individual workout :) for Minor puppy of breed. This weekend is not looking promising weather wise so roll on the end of the month.
January 04, We have been to our first show and proud of Miss Poppy puppy who beat her mother and is now a third of the way to her title. No fringies this time

Okay; so January 2025 feels like it just started yesterday and here we are in 2026 already…
I am not sure I am ready for it, but will try! So much has happened, when I thought we had not accomplished much.
Dog showing has not been the focus of the year, but that certainly has not stopped them SHINING when out in the showring.
CH Carluke Kissed By Harriet – Dylan has been to a total of 7 shows this year for an outstanding record of 1 BEST IN SHOW. Dog CC & RBOB at the Collie Club of Victoria Champ show, RCC @ RMS to his brother (the only show he didn’t not win points at)
CH Carluke Kissed By Faberge – Henri went to slightly more shows (12) than his brother claiming 1Rup BEST IN SHOW – 2 Best in Groups (All breeds). RCC Collie club of Victoria Champ show, Dog CC, BOB and group shortlist @ RMS. Henri also sired his first litter this year, with Poppy shining in the ring already.
CH Carluke Frou Frou Revue – CoCo completed her title this year and has bopped around collecting RCC at the Collie Club of Victoria Champ show, RCC @ RMS
CH Carluke Falling In Love – Leo the big black boy only went to 4 shows this year and has decided that enough is enough! Gaining CC points at 3 of those shows and an Open in group he will now rest on his laurels at the grand age of 4 years old, he retires with over 400 points, but his children and now grand children enjoy showing much more than he. The sire of 3 of the 4 major Collie Rough winners at the Collie Club of VIC champ show 2025, he has 4 titled children and a couple more on their way.
CH Kirrieloch Oh Calamity (AI) – Cally picked up CC points at her 3 shows in 2025, motherhood was her calling and we have young Poppy to look forward to.
Carluke Hands Offmy Tiara (AI) – Feliz only 2 shows for her with points, we sincerely hope to have her out and about more in 2026.

Posthumous title for Grand CH Carluke Au Contraire now a Sire of Merit (SOM) – 10 titled progeny with one completing after 1/1/2025 (CoCo)

Internationally – DKK CH Carluke Frozen In Time (AI) can add NOR CH to her list as well as becoming a mother to a gorgeous lookalike Tri daughter Rosetta
The Kiwi family have continued from strength to strength. On the North Island NZ CH Carluke Started With Akiss – Cruz has a titled son and a daughter on her way, as well as making a token appearance late in the year to remind people he is still around. We thank Raewyn and Jo for their loving care of this gorgeous boy.
South Island and Aust & NZ Ch Carluke Diamentes At Dusk - Prim has 3 NZ titled children, 1 Australian titled grand daughter and on the verge of 2 NZ titled grand children. Thank you to Angela and family for loving this quirky Tri girl.
Of course there are the dogs in loving family homes, we thank you for the care and love you give them and enjoy hearing of your adventures over the years. Sadly there have been losses and we remember fondly those who have passed over the rainbow bridge.
2026 brings with it the excitement of a Collie National and meeting up with friends from both home and abroad.
